Well first off, welcome to the site man.
If I were you I would get an sri, especially with the way that we see such crazy rain from time to time here in Ft. Worth. Off the top of my head I can't think of anyone that I personally know that has hydrolocked, but I know that there was a thread here a while back about a guy that hydrolocked his fg2. It was so long ago that I don't remember where it is though.
