I went from a lightly modded Pontiac Grand Prix GTP that was a mid-high 13 second car to my stick shift R18. It took me a month to get used to having very little power under 4,000 RPM but after a while you get used to it. By the time I was looking to get rid of my Grand Prix I was a much slower driver than I used to be. If I want to drive something pretty quick, I'll just borrow my mom's BMW 545i. Besides with all the traffic congestion and strict traffic laws in Ontario, it's pretty hard to find a stretch of road to let her rip regardless of having a fast car or not.
