What kind of towels did you use to remove the wax? I would highly recommend getting microfiber towels rather than cotton towels unless you have already done so.
I only use mf towels on my Si. No cotton will ever touch its paint surface. One other thing you might try is some quick detailer either by Mother's [which I prefer] or Meguiar's. Spray some on and see if it removes the streaks. Usually quick detailer will smooth things out.
