I bought a new air compressor and the owners manual has a break-in period. So I ignored the break in period as suggested by the owners manual. What do those guys know anyways.
The owners manual says to run the compressor with the air drain open for 15 minutes. Instead I did the exact opposite since the I am way smarter than the engineers. I closed the air vent valve and hooked up a air ratchet. Turned it on for 30 minutes and used the tool wide open.
After 31 minutes of use I can say my breakin period worked and is way better then what the manual calls for.
End sarcasim

I did exactly as the owners manual stated.
It's funny that even a 200.00 air compressor has a breakin period. Yet people drop 20k on a new Honda and refuse to follow the break in period or even admit that it might be a good idea to follow what the manual says.
