yeah sorry I didn't make myself clear lol. Let's say I'm going 35 mph and I want to hit 40mph to keep up with traffic on the street. Before, my car would have to down shift, catch up to 40 then shift again and it's just jerky and probably waste of gas if the transmission is just going to go through all that for that extra 5mph. The car still does that but much less. Instead it stays in that gear and pulls my car to 40 probably faster than it downshifting... Auto tranny kinda makes me frustrated sometime lol.
