If you are going to use the Meguiar's NXT 2.0, you can skip the sealant as both are synthetic polymers. What you could do is to seal and then use a good carnauba wax. In any case, always use sealant before waxing.
Here's what I would recommend:
1. wash
2. clay
3. Meguiar's deep crystal paint cleaner
4. Meguiar's #7
5. Meguiar's NXT 2.0
6. Mother's Reflections Top Coat
I just got done doing my G35 and it is stunning. 4 levels of polish and in some cases 6. I used Griot's 1,2,3,4 polishes and tried out Meguiar's #80 and 82 with my random orbital buffer.
Paint was sealed with 3 coats of Jet Seal. Next, it was glazed with #7 and glossed with Wolfgang deep paint gloss, waxed with Natty's Blue carnauba and a coat of PS21 and Mother's Top Coat. Car looks like a mirror.
