I know this is a really old thread, but it is the closest thread I could find to what I'm looking to do to my Honda Civic 2006 DX Sedan.

I would like to add the following to my car:

1) Power locks with the button on the door.
2) Alarm system that will tie into the power locks.
3) Automatic Trunk release.

I've done a little looking around, and some of the power lock systems I've seen are really low priced (which kind of scared me about the quality).

Here are some of the things I found:

REMOTE CONTROL POWER DOOR LOCK SYSTEMS (4 door)

REMOTE ALARM SYSTEM WITH KEYLESS ENTRY AND SIX BUILT-IN RELAYS

Any comments would be helpful and appreciated. Anyone actually do this type of DIY project on their DX?
