It's fairly hard to describe. I'm familiar with how VSA kicks in (the gradual reapplication of power like you mentioned), and whatever it's doing is a lot more aggressive. Due to the way this one turn is engineered, I can take it very fast and sharp, and that's when I get the sound.

Can enough inertia make it so certain components of the engine not get enough oil like the poster above suggested?
