It's not about power, it's about driveability. The DBW in the Si is a pain in the ass. It forces you to drive "wrong" to drive the car right.

I along with many others have owned mainly manuals for most of our driving years and this is the first car we have had complaints about. I have more fun shifting a rusty old 85 Volvo wagon than I do driving an Si with the damn rev hang. And for anyone who is quick to point out that I "suck" at driving manuals then I'll say this. I am definately not the best around since I'm no race driver but every manual I have driven in the past I have been able to shift smooth as silk. Esp my friends RSX-S which was the entire reason why I bought an SI, that car was a dream to drive, it made me so happy even grannying it around. Even my father who has never owned an automatic in his life, his first comment when driving my Si was "what's with the engine when I shift". Even my friend who bought the same car is annoyed by it.

If it wasn't for the rev hang then I would still have my Si, even with the transmission problems I had and even though I didn't feel like paying for it. I would have paid good money for a cable conversion kit.

Not trying to sound like a dick, I just don't know how to make something so annoying sound any nicer.
