The car has not had its first oil change yet. When I bought it the dealer said that Honda uses special break in oil and it should be left in till the oil life indicator went down to 15%. Is the special break in oil a real thing or a dealer myth? I'm asking because thats the first time I've heard of special break in oil.

just change it. Ur not gonna hurt anything either way. But if its been a year, I'd change it for sure.
