I think the OEM amp requires a standard 12v turn-on lead like aftermarket amps, that's provided by the OEM head unit.. keywords "I think".
But if that's the case, you'd need to provide the appropriate "remote-out" lead from an aftermarket head unit to the appropriate pinout location of the harness going into the OEM amp, if that's what you installed.
