honda should recalibrate maintenance minder

ok i know most of you check your oil but some and most people do not.

when my maintenance minder was at like 50%/3000miles i lost quart of oil. so I filled a quart in but if i hadn't caught it then, i would have lost over 2~3 quarts over course of 5000miles(30%) which then i changed my oil and began my oil consumption test.

SO for the general public who goes by the maintenance minder, shouldn't Honda recalibrate the minder to say ADD OIL (since it's normal for honda engines(ONLY) to burn oil) or have shorter maintenance interval on SI models specifically?

When i had my EX, I never lost more than 10th of a quart ever if any at all.

point being...new engines should not burn oil.
