Ok I have a 2007 Civic SI Thats almost a year old and has 1544 miles on it. The oil life indicator is at 70%

My question is do I wait for the indicator to get to the 15% or is there an equivalent to the 15% in months?

The car has not had its first oil change yet. When I bought it the dealer said that Honda uses special break in oil and it should be left in till the oil life indicator went down to 15%. Is the special break in oil a real thing or a dealer myth? I'm asking because thats the first time I've heard of special break in oil.
