It was a 1 year release difference... yet Xbox 180 (as some people like to call it) was released in late 01, while PS2 was released in early 00. So, Sony had about 2.5 more years of development time and what does PS3 have over Xbox 360... blu-ray... thats pretty much it. All that and between $200 and $300 more for the system.
Sorry but with 2.5 more years of development and a price tag of +$200 more than the competitor, i'd expect something
much more than the debatable graphics differences and bluray capability.

and as for FF7 'dominating' all 360 games... good luck dominating the Halo series. But I do agree... besides that (Halo) series... Xbox doesnt have much vs PS3 in terms of game quality
