I did not mean it to be offensive. But since you asked, you're looking at the wrong engine. There are two I4 engines offered with the Accord. The one I am going to assume are the following engines
ACCORD: 190 hp @ 7000 rpm / 162 ft-lbs. @ 4400 rpm (87 oct)

vs.

CIVIC: 197 hp @ 7800 rpm / 139 ft-lbs. @ 6100 rpm (91+ oct)

Again, yea the low[er] end torque would be great, but do we want another EP3 mistake? I say no, I bought a Honda for its high revving torqueless engine. If I wanted more torque in a FF platform, I would have gotten a Spec V.

Spec V: 200 hp @ 6600 rpm / 180 ft-lbs. @ 5200 rpm (87 oct) No contest.

As for the Accord, the 2.4L I4 suits it much better since the heavier platform will require the increased torque numbers to get thing to scoot along at a reasonable pace.

EDIT: sorry, i thought you meant that you wanted an engine transplant... The Accord engine has more power but it is also heavier which will negate the increased power.
