The better choice is how you will use the car. the R18 has plenty of spunk and it is a fun car to drive. If you want a fun car to drive make sure you get a manual. The Si is funner, but it comes at a price. Premium fuel, lower milage (mostly due to 8200 RPM's) So if you are going to put it around town and maybe evey once and awhile enjoy a twistie I would recomend the Ex-L. If you want to play everytime you drive get and Si. Or because you like one or the other a little more.
