Hi, I don't know too much about cars, but I have an 07 civic ex coupe. I heard recently that you can get XM radio for life for free. According to this guy, XM sends out the cancellation signal for only about 3 weeks, and then they stop sending the signal (something about not being able to continuously do it). So this guy says you can subscribe to XM for like a month, and before you cancel it, unhook your XM radio, let the subscription run out and wait a month, then reconnect the XM radio. Supposedly after this, your radio will think that you're still a paying customer. Is this a myth or can you actually do this? And if so, how would one go about disconnecting the XM radio? Thanks!
