My problem is slightly different. Maybe someone can help? The buzz / hum is really quiet and only happens when the headlights are on and the amp is powered (if I push the dimmer all the way up or turn off the headlights, then the buzz goes away).
If I unplug the control to the factory amp the buzz goes away. I've tried unplugging all the preout RCAs and still get the buzz as long as the amp control and headlights are on at the same time.

More than likely you have a wire crossed somewhere. Sounds like you have a + hooked up to a - speaker wire. That would be my guess. When in doubt rip it all out and start all over. Go over EVER wire and make sure they are all correct
