It should be avaiable by the end of this month, just hoping that the shipping is not delayed from Japan.

We already made teh FG2 one, in our picture that we have supplied is the FG2, but once the intake is released it will be out for all the 8thgens.

Do not worry about water/hydrolocking issues. The intake was also made to not have this issue, why would we make something with a duct that can cause hydrolock? We would'nt not have something like that! Do not worry, unless your driving through an Ocean/Lake, its over =X. I do not think any of use drive through anything that big. Splashes, you should not even worry about it.

Off the bottom piece as in the duct? If you are asking that no we are not. The intake comes with all the supplied hardware for installation and I do not think we will sell anything seperately.

Thank you, we will dicuss something about Group Buy because we have been thinking about making a Group Buy on a product of ours for the 8thgen, but we will discuss.

When we dyno it we can ge the AFR for a stationary dyno, but it is impossible to get a in motion dyno. How can we get a dyno while the car is driving. It will not affect the AFR at much or at all if it is stationary or in motion.

Sorry as for ball park it is really hard at the moment, the item we just tested was 2 days old. Were waiting to get the actual product soon then we can get the ACTUAL price. Hope that we get it in next week.

This is a high pressure area. The air will be forced in do to the higher pressure created at the lower bumper area. Once this air enters the inlet, it will be rammed into the intake airbox.

If there is not a connection to the foglight as Joey mentioned, you still would get some air in there, although not as much as if the foglight area is ducted to the scoop.

I explained why it will make 8-10 hp in a previous post. For every 10 degree drop in intake temperature, there is a corresponding 2 hp gain. Bearing in mind the ambient air temperature inside a hot engine bay, it is not unrealistic for air temps to be 40-60 degrees cooler due to the rammed air, which is denser, and the enclosed airbox.

I for one am quite pleased with the overall look of the airbox. My only concern as I stated previously is the MAF sensor position. I still contend it would be better to run a sectioned MAF housing and connect to the airbox, rather than installing the MAF sensor in the cover.

The other issue that is pressing is price. I would assume that wil the carbon fiber cover and scoop/duct, the price will be close to $500 or more. If you look at King Motorsports Type R airbox for the Si, it is $700 w/o cf. If you look at the Gruppe M, which is almost $1200, then, it is a bargain.

BTW, water should not be a problem unless you drive through water one to two feet deep. The T1R seems to be quite similar to the factory setup for drawing air in.
Thank You Nitrousg35 for your comment, everything you have stated is in fact true. People should not worry about the splashes at all, you should only worry if you run over a super galore of water that is really deep. As for the MAF sensor it is most likely will be there, if we decide to change the MAF sensor it shouldnt be a hassle.

I have been looking about the TB spacer you guys are talking about, it should fit with no problem. I have look at the TB spacer with the stock hose to the intake and after looking over with ours, there should be no problem at all. I do not see why it would not fit. Shouldnt worry about it too much because it should fit with no issue. As for the CF top, im sorry it only comes in CF. I know there are people worried about when you get pulled over, the thing I love about the intake that is coming out is that it looks like stock and you will not have a big gap like all the other CAI out there.
