How old are you if you don't mind me asking?

You are getting a great price on the car, so that's a good thing. When I worked at a dealer everyone there loved me and I could not get any better of a deal on a RSX-S than some dude walking in off the street.

By the price of your current insurance I'd say you will be paying a good ammount more once you get a new car. If you don't currently have comprehensive and collision coverage on the Acura then based on what you are currently paying your insurance is going to skyrocket, esp if you are younger since you mentioned you have a few tickets.

Best thing would be to call your insurance agent. I walked into my office before I got my Si to do something for my motorcycle and got to talking to my agent. She was playing around with things in the computer and showing me how if I didn't get an Si I'd be paying this much, or if I had no speeding tickets I'd be paying that much (and holy crap it was so much cheaper!!). Seemed like it was really easy for her to give me different quotes.
