I just posted what I consider almost a treatise on why a dyno won't show true horsepower figures as well as why fans won't work. There is no way in God's green earth that a fan is going to simulate actual air velocity and pressure that a car experiences at speed. Zeuce, I like you a lot, but this dyno request is really getting old.
As for A/F info, that is something that could be tested and should be. I am a little concerned by the placement of the MAF sensor and the lack of vanes. I wonder if it would be better to use a sectioned MAF housing and then connect to the airbox? This might be the only drawback to this system.
If anyone has seen the Gruppe M thread, the OP, Nasif, did the right thing by using a sectioned MAF housing to go with the cowl induction intake. Thus, his A/F ratio should be as stock and drivability and throttle response should be the same as well, something missing from many aftermarket intakes.
