In terms of heat dissipation, I would think the difference between CF vs Plastic is negligible.

The major advantage of CF is it's strength to weight ratio compared to metallics. As an added benefit, CF trumps metallic materials in terms of heat dissipation.

But using CF for the purpose of intake tubing seems to me as more of an aesthetic upgrade, as rigidity takes a much lower priority under heat dissipation and weight respectively.

Therefore, I still choose plastic over CF for intake application (cost/benefit).

I would like if someone with more knowledge on this subject to chime in.
