Visually, the design of this product would make the OE makers approve it (not because of the nice looking CF). Just a note, IMO, OE box is not limited/just for for cost effective/liability/noise suppression reasons.

However overall i am concerned about the placement of the MAF sensor due to the problems that was happening before with other intake systems. I hope this isnt all that expensive cause it really isnt much but a highflow filter and a scoop for the air in the front bumper
