It is hard to understand and appreciate the quantity of some of the original parts. As it maybe redundant to say, an engine breath range is not only for high rpm (as most people look for when buying an aftermarket intake), yet they lose the other end of the spectrum with their simple design pipes. The T1R intake appears to have designed and thought of the ranges of the spectrum.
I honestly can't say much how good or bad as I have not seen their engineering or math data/cad analysis. I hope AJR can chime in on the engineering part of their research.
Visually, the design of this product would make the OE makers approve it (not because of the nice looking CF). Just a note, IMO, OE box is not limited/just for for cost effective/liability/noise suppression reasons.
I'm just excited to see a product like this.
