I started reading all types of stuff over at HIDplanet.com and i got all sorts of confused about switched positive and switched negative and such. I dont want to damage my stock wire harness, or anything else in my car, so whats the best way to go about this?
you have a single filament bulb aka one bulb for low beams unlike other cars that use one bulb for both hi and low beam.
What you need is a 9006 single xenon relay harness such as this one i had

This connects to the stock 9006 female harness:

These connect to the ballasts, in your case, you just cut these two female connectors and wire them to the power wires:

Red wire with terminal will go to the positive side of the battery, Black wire with terminal will be a ground which should be bolted onto the chassis :

And you're done
