Have you had your windows tinted recently?

If so, i'm guessing it's the same thing that happened to me.

You know the rubber "lips" that are at the bottom of the windown sil, the part the window exits when you're rolling it up? Well those "lips" (we'll call them outer lips) are not the only pair on your window. About another inch down inside the door is another pair of "lips" (we'll call them inner lips).

When my tint job got done, they guy's had used some sort of tool to tuck my tint down below the outer lip line. In the process, they had folded over that set of inner lips so that instead of the smooth soft felt comming into contact w/the window it was grippy rubber & it made a mean noise when I rolled up the window and left residue on the window EVERY TIME i rolled it up.

Long story short, I put a microfiber cloth over a screw driver & forced it into the corner of the inner lip & slid it along the glass to unfold that inner lip so that the felt once again came into contact w/the window.

Problem solved.
