Why?
Your nitrous is injected in a high pressure rate. If the nozzle is very close to intake manifold you will not have a balanced amount of N2O distributed in all of your cylinders making one or more of them run dangerously leaner than the others.
Take your time and review your nitrous installation guide you will see that it specify that the nozzle must be almost a foot away from the throttle body. The reason is what I stated in the above paragraph.

Good to know. I dont have nitrous... I just know that the extra hole int he P2R spacer is for N20 or another vacuum hose.
