Well I had my Civic in the dealership today to get the issues dealt with, again, for the 3rd time. And they still insist that they cannot do the reflash. This time around the dealer service Manager states that the ECU is different on my SI and the TSB is for 2006's which have a different ECU. Sounds like BS to me. My Si does fall out of the VIN range. But the bucking in 1st gear is now intolerable. just crossed over the 4,000 mile marker.

So I simply asked him that I would like to take advantage of the Texas Lemon Law. 3 strikes your out I said! He said that for that law to apply there would have been 3 repairs made that did not fix the issue. So I said that I brought the car in 3 times and each time you couldn't do the repair. So if you can't repair the car then it does fall into the lemon law parameters.

I was told to call American Honda to make the complaint with them. I plan to do this.

I find this issue completely ridiculous. I mean it's a software glitch (maybe) and my car sucks because of it. So stay tuned as I'll be pushing Honda hard to fix this.
