My friends say that I still don't know how to drive standard because I do rev slightly and then disengage clutch, but every car is different. I feel that after 4 months of driving this car, it is the best way to start from a dead stop. Also, it has less stress on the car since you are not hearing the transmission struggling from letting go of the clutch first and then gassing it from there. It's hard to switch between standard cars because they all feel different, but once your used to it you'll find it normal. Hope your enjoying the car as much as I am!
