VQ Power and I have done our black G35 entirely by hand with Scratch X. It is a lot of work, but it can do wonders on a black car. It definetly is easier using a random orbital buffer with the right pads. Makes short work of polishing, sealing and waxing.

What impressed me though was the degree of shine that Yo Nadz got just by doing it by hand. He used the right products and the results speak for themselves.

One product that I cannot recommend enough on a black car is Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze. I have been using it for 30 years and it always has made my black cars shine like they were new. It does a great job of hiding scratches and adding nourishment to the paint. You can clearly see the depth in Yo Nadz's paint after using it.
