almost died ; <
so yah.. tranny issue.. but just telling u guys what happend .. don't wanna get hassled with "not another tranny thread"
sooo getting off the highway ramp and making a right onto the main street.. it was a red light so i had to stop and look.. i saw more then enough room to go so i tried going into first.. it wouldn;t go in.. i tried several times and it just wouldn't go.. it felt like when it;s locked out when ur above a certain speed.. but i was at a complete stop!! so i started rolling back so i popped it into second and tried to go but of course cause i was thinking:
"is my tanny giving me problems like the rest?"
"is my clutch all the way down?"
"but it;s not 3rd gear"
"shoot i just notice rev hang today cause i found out what it was.. is my car gonna be one of those from hell?"
"dammit why isn't it going into 1st?"
"ok lets go to second and just go"
i didn;t think to just stop and wait.. plus the guy behind me was honking.. so i popped it into second and gave it the same amount of gas as i would for 1st and yep i stalled!!! 3/4 of my car was already turning cause it jerked forward in 2nd.. and the gap was closing fast!! so i just turned my ignition again and spun out and managed to barely make it ...
i called my dealership and they said "that's weird, we're gonna have to make an appointment to get u to drive with a tech to see if ur driving it properly or if there is something wrong"
blah... so yep ; > yesterday was not a good day... found out i have some Rev hang about 0.5sec-1sec so not as bad.., and my 1st locked me out on a dead stop!
on the bright side i have no 3rd gear issues haha..
quick question.. i searched and no answer.. if u rev's are hanging and ur change gears while it;s still hanging are u wearing ur cluth badly?
that's my story and near death experience..
