Bose used to have a 2.1 setup that was $2k. I didn't make it up. I couldn't tell you what it was; all I remember is that it was in one of their demo rooms at a store in Louisville. Their prices have come down quite a bit since then I would imagine; wouldn't know because I don't shop for Bose.
So, $2k today may be wrong, but you get the point.
Shop for a bose HTIB system and see if you can get one for a decent price compared to others. I just pulled up their site and the cheapest one is $1400. Point was that they
are highly priced.
Do you own Bose?... hope you didn't take offense to the 'do the research' comment I made. *shrugs*
Don't tell me you don't know bose owners who think they're king **** just because of the brand they own. If you haven't met any of those guys, then you're lucky. I know quite a few.

I didn't say YOU specifically. I meant in general. Lord, help us...
