Here's one for ya. I'm buying my '07 FA5. I haggle with them for 3 days over the price. They tell me, "Its a rare car and highly sought after. Thats why there's a markup." I finally got my car for $21,200, but that's beside the point.
Four months later when the new Accord coupe comes out I go and look at them at the same dealer I bought my FA5 from. Out of curiosity I see how much they would give me for the FA5 as a trade-in. They proceed to tell me my car is worth $16,000 as a trade (with only 4,000 miles on her). As my jaw hits the floor, I ask them how the came to that price? The dealers response was, "These 4 dr Si's are a dime a dozen and not very popular!! We would just auction it off." I literally told the salesman to go **** himself, and left!
