Yeah I agree with 28 Days Later, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and some of the Saw's. One that I forgot to mention was The Descent. That movie made me and my friends jump throughout the whole thing when we saw it in theaters.

I can't believe I let my friends talk me and my girlfriend into going to see Shutter

Part of me has hope for The Strangers, but as more and more trailers are released, it will probably look worse and worse.
