Sup all, I'm grabbing dunlop wintersport m3's for this years winter... thought I'd try them out.

I liked the blizzaks and alpins but want something different this time.

Now... I rather get 17's but tirerack doesn't have steelies for them, so I'm going to have to go with 16's steelies, will this clear the brakes (in the future im planning to upgrade to a project mu brake kit or something so they must fit on upcoming winters as well)? that's my only concern... maybe a stupid question but would like confirmation.

I drove a winter with 17" alloys on G35 coupe and had a ok winter thanks to the blizzaks, thats why I think a 17" tire is plenty sidewall to play with was fine on a RWD car will be even better on a FWD.

16" is probably better anyways...

btw 16" steelies with dunlop wintersports are about $650 or so... I think that's pretty good compared to previous years I've spending about 1k on winter setups just cuz I wanted to keep a decent look, alloys are just not worth it.
