While I'm sure it's not disturbing the flow much, wouldn't it make sense to shave off this excess to smooth out the transition? I didn't have time to do it when I did my install but I'm considering it when I take things apart to install my IMG.
Another note: Before I noticed that the TBG's are smaller than the TBS I tightened the nylon plug as far as I felt it would go before rounding off and noticed the plug doesn't end up flush with the inside of the spacer so I squirted some RTV in the hole and tooled it flush. I figured it can only help keep the flow a little bit smoother. Again, probably won't make any real sort of difference but I'm always looking to optimize where possible.
