duk's wicked HCHII

OK, so this is the build thread for my 07 TW HCHII.

On to the photos:

This is the first picture I took. I know, the car is very dirty. This is when I had a VIS CF trunk and hood. The fitment was very poor so I returned them both. Hopefully I will be getting a Seibon CF hood this summer from a local 8thCivic member.

These pictures are taken from the first 8thCivic Calgary meet. Hoanger and Element63 were the photographers, I can never give them enough props for these pics. These were taken before the new spoiler was put on. Feb 08.

And these are some pictures I took after the spoiler was painted and mounted. It is a Mugen replica spoiler I bought from our vendor BattleEndless. I had my local shop (Screamin Paintworks) fill in the areas for the Mugen emblem, and trim down the OEM lip spoiler to fit this properly. Mar 08.

And finally here are some pictures of my Enkei's. April 08.
The Enkei's caused a slight drop im mileage despite them being lighter than the stock HCH wheels. I now am averaging about 38-40 mpg, but in the winter i was only getting about 35. The cold weather has a drastic effect on the electric components of the car, so it doesn't really function fully as a hybrid in the winter (which is 7 months of the year here). And so i don't recommend hybrids to anyone living in a place with bad winters.

The interior lighting was installed by a forum Member, Swank. He has an awesome car, fully lit up with great lights. So he helped me with interior ambiance lighting. May 08.

And the trunk, July 08

Here are some photos taken with the custom cut and painted Si grill, JDM badge, and B&W emblem overlay. June 08.

So i decided to pick up the Eibach Pro-Kit to drop this thing on. It handles substantially better now, and it may have helped minorly with my mileage. It's tough to tell because there so many damn factors involved. July 08

Anyway if you like what you see be sure to check back once in a while as I will update this thread with pics as I get them. Also i will use this opportunity as a plug for my business. I own a graphic design company called Nonko Design. Hit me up if you need graphics or a website! Or just check out the site if you like cool, fun flash sites. We're also working on a video game, should be out very soon!

Thanks for looking!

PS. Big thanks to some of the photographers: Jason (hoanger), Corey (element63), and my good friend Misha Frolov.
