So, you would be taking in both cold air from the cowl scoop, and warm air from the engine bay. Cold + warm air = mild air. which = a pointless ram air? As I mentioned before, im not necessarily baggin on this intake. Im just trying to understand it.. Because my thoughts were this. That hole could be one of 3 things. 1) a place for air to come out, which then goes to the battery ( due to the CF piece on top of the battery ) which could be used to cool down the batter? hrmm no... Or 2) could be used to let rain or other things out.. maybe, but thats a rather large hole for that.. or 3) what was mentioned above. as a means to take in air from the engine bay. But that wouldnt make sense because theres no ram air effect going on there. And then you got to take in the calculations of what the pressure is going into the intake from the cowl, and what the pressure is going into it from the engine bay ( if thats what its doing ). there SHOULD be a lot more high pressure coming into the intake from the cowl scoop, And airflow will go to wherever it is easiest to go. So, that leads me to believe that it would flow right out that hole ( and go into the intake due to the vacuum effect from the engine )..

So, thats where im completely lost here. Anyone got any clues?
