Talked to sctuned carlos and they should in places like penn. but here in good ol' boy california nobody knows for sure. I'm wondering how much variation there is bewteen these cats as some people get cels and others do not.
My idea to improve your chances was to wrap up the header to increase the amount of heat being sent to the cat, which I believe is a good thing in that it might make it more efficient at burning gasses and removing heat from the engine bay as well, since I didn't realize you don't even keep the stock heat shield up top when installing the header.
Just an idea though not sure if it would make the cat work any better, just know thats why on older cars you always bring the car in warmed up already.
