I have bought all but one car that I have driven (the 1 was my mom's car that I was sharing with her) including my first car that I bought off my parents for a steal but I still learned the importance of money.
i can understand where ur coming from, but just b/c kids have nice cars, clothes, etc. does not mean they don't know anything about responsibility or money management. i can say that i've had it pretty easy/steady growing up, but at the same time, i was taught the importance of self-control and hard work. i got my entire college education for free not by my parents' help, but by scholarships. now that i'm settling down with my career, i have more $$ to blow but only spend it on necessities.
