They may appear blue to you, but they're actually white 4300k bulbs. Blue may appear by looking at the lights off-axis causing that cool flicker, or if you're near one, they always appear to have a slightly more blue tint. Helps that their fogs are bright yellow too.
If you want those 8000k bulbs, go for it. They look okay. You'll see more with 4300K, and lowering light output with 8000K bulbs just to look cooler seems to defeat the entire purpose of HIDs to me.
