Ya the 25 hr shift is for real. I work for the public utility here in CA PG&E. The longest shift that I worked so far is 37hrs (only stopped once to eat). There is a lot of O.T. if you want it. I worked Sat and Sun last week and I'm working tomorrow (Sun.) also. I don't like to work that much (I got kids and need to be home too) but I had some bills to pay. They can't make you stay that long, you are right, all I have to do is say I'm too tired to work safely. The hardest part about those shifts is the drive home! Logic? what's that?
