great question bro. The threaded port is sorta long but I don't know how bad it would really disrupt air flow. I don't have this problem though because my defouler won't even screw in all the way.

I've brought this up a couple times because mines only threads in about half way before the long portion of the defouler eventually hits the header flange. I just went as far as I could with it, made sure it was parallel to the cat, and tightened the nut on the header and it seems to be pretty sturdy and I wouldn't think it would leak or anything. But I still haven't had time to install my header to test yet. However, Yo Nadz didn't have this problem for some reason with his Weapon R defouler, so I guess it's just the luck of the draw. Is this happening to you?
