Si's are a limited produced Civic, ONLY 15,000 made a year out of the 300,000 that honda produces. Rare for a lot of dealers b/c of the volume they do. They may only get a few a year, so in essence he was not telling you a lign of BS. The fact that they had more then one on the lot doesn't say anything, seeing how Honda did not send them out all of the time, they came in as they were built some times we would get 1 in a month sometimes 3 and most of the time we would go a few months w/out getting any in and they are the #1 volume dealer in the state of La. God forbid if you wanted a Navi. We could not even order a Navi- anything in a Civic for like 3 mos. sometimes, They were even harder to get then the regular 2dr and 4dr Si's.....SO be happy if you were one of the few to walk on a lot and leave w/ an Si.... Most of the time they were pre sold b/4 they came in, atleast all through 06-07...
