If you have read them you would know about rule #18

A little while back we closed all chat threads due to members breaking the rules. We started new ones with rules stated in the first post. This has been done with the Chicago chat. All the members from the thread: "Fridays this Friday" (the one you're referring to) have moved on into that. You're from the same area, why don't you participate in that chat thread?
go to any other forum, or any website, or anything, and you will find those same rules, but you will also find it more lenient.. the rules are there to 1. deter people from being idiots 2. cover your ass incase you need to take action (which is up to you btw, you dont have to enforce every little rule).. i bet i could find things in those rules that you are not enforcing at all, or at least not as much as others..

anyways, unless webby has come to you and been like "hey, why didnt you close this thread (for a super tiny reason)", then why would you go around closing threads like crazy? this didnt go on at the blackjack forum i was part of, nor a few other forums, and they all have the same rules pretty much.. i just ask that you give a reason you close a thread when you close it, as perhaps im overreacting and if i could actually see the reason a thread was closed i could say "ohhh, thats reasonable".. its to both our benefits.. and if there are like 20+ mods here, then that is your problem right there on why threads are closed a lot.. there should be like 6
