The good thing about painting it is that you can bolt everything to it unlike the actual type r one.

Sounds like a plan, but I might look like some kind of freak trying to get a valve cover through air port security...
Starting school shouldn't disrupt anything since I'll be in San Antonio on the 6th of April.
BTW I have the intake on after I saw your dyno day results.
