Make sure you have them facing in the correct direction if they don't line up flip them and everything should be fine. When you drill the new hole deffinetly use the larger size the 11/32 it made everything go together that much easier. This was a very simple install. Although I never stuck the 2 brackets together I had no problems with the install and it only took aprox. 20mins. for the brackets to go in place.
