I did three manual transmission changes (all 8thgen si's) in my garage using a jack and jackstands in under an hour and twenty minutes. I was taking my time- these were my friend's cars and we were doing a lot of talking.

in the garage or on a lift, changing the transmission fluid in the Z3 is way easier than changing the oil. Not that the oil change is hard, because I don't think it is.
