hmm... $60 for HIR (Halogen Infrared Reflecting) bulbs -
eBay Motors: TOSHIBA HIR 9011 & 9012 BULBS, THE BRIGHTEST AVAILABLE (item 170197544670 end time Mar-05-08 11:49:00 PST)- that 'may' produce twice the light as normal halogens and also have a decreased life expectancy since your increasing the heat of the filament, or $150 for a true HID kit that produces 5x the light of halogens and are guaranteed to last 3x longer than oem halogens? Tough decision.

The camera tends to show more blue due to its higher wavelength. They are still quite blue tho, but not enough to hinder vision, these things work great.
