I don't have any pics of this. Sorrry guys. The header was delivered directly to my shop a day earlier than expected so naturally I had to installl it right away and I didn'y have the camera.
The washer thrick won't work. You would need way too many and there wouldn't bee enough of the sensor threaded into the defouler. And it would push it out too far and you would have clearance issues. Especially with the Vibrant and BC headers because they are larger in diameter.
So using only one defouler drilled out like mine will throw a CEL? So you have to use both of them? That sucks. I still used both. I just did it like that so I would have a little extra protection against throwing a CEL.
And you have to drill it almost all the way to get it to not bottom out the O2 sensor on the defouler. And if you have to, use an extra spark plug crush washer on the O2 sensor if you're worried about drilling to close and going through. They seal really well. I used one on the Defouler that screwed into the header. But I just reused the one that was on my O2 sensor. The only downfall to using the washer will be more clearance issues. So the more you drill the better. I have about a half a millimeter of space between my O2 sensorand the defouler. It's a really toght fit but it works. I have a little over 375 miles without a CEL.
